Gluten Free Chicken Marsala Free Recipe

Chicken Marsala originates from Italy. It’s absolutely delicious and fairly easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless, boneless, chicken breasts, preferably organic
  • 8 ounces crimini or porcini mushrooms, stemmed an halved
  • 3-1/2 oz. mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sweet Marsala wine
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Gluten-free flour
  • Pink Himalayan salt and pepper

 

Directions:

1. Lay out all ingredients.

2. Put the chicken breasts on a cutting board, lay a piece of plastic wrap over them and pound with a flat meat mallet, until they are about 1/4-inch thick.

3. Put some Gluten-free flour in a shallow platter and season with salt and pepper.

4. Heat olive oil in a pan and start sautéing the sliced mushrooms.

5. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium-high and slip the cutlets and fry for 5 minutes on each side until golden, turning once.

6. Combine the chicken with the mushrooms and add the Marsala wine (keep some for plating).

7. Serve with mash potatoes and top with chopped green onions and Marsala wine./li>
